1931 Martin C-1 Coverted to 21 Style
Here we have great 1931 Martin c-1 Archtop that has been converted to a 21 Style. The conversion was done by Joel Whitehead. The guitar tuners are not original to the guitar. Dot inlays are original. The guitar has been completely re-fretted.
New AAA Adirondack spruce top with scalloped 1/4” scalloped bracing.
Nut width is 1.758''
Width from e to e at bridge is 2.277''. scale length 24-7/8”
Brazilian rosewood belly bridge with bone saddle and Ebony bridge pins.
New liquor aged finish to match the rest of the guitar.
The neck sides and back and finger board are original.
The guitar come with after market case.
Sides and back are Honduran mahogany with mahogany neck.
Things original to the guitar include:
Neck, fingerboard, Honduran mahogany sides and back, neck block, tail block, back bracing ,center strip, tuners, Martin peg head, back cellulose binding with end graft.
There are lots of scrapes, scratches, dings dents and superficial blemishes all over the instrument.
The top has been aged to match the rest of the guitar.
